Marianne's Baby Shower

For Marianne's real shower Paul and I gave her a diaper cake of course! But no ordinary diaper cake ---> a FIVE tier cake with a poodle accents to go along with the theme of the shower. I sort of cheated though when it came time to rolling the diapers. Since Marianne wanted me to come over the night before her shower, she was enlisted to help roll the tiers! She thought it was fun but I am sure in a few weeks she won't want to see any more diapers! Baby Girl DiNardo will be here soon!

And the celebrations keep on going...

This month Paul (Jan 11), Jeanine (Jan 20) and Jerry (Jan 27) all celebrate a birthday so we had a little party to help them feel better about getting old(er). It was supposed to be a Simpsons theme party but they don't sell Simpsons party goods here in the U.S. and to have them shipped would have cost around $30-$50 on top of what they cost. So they had to settle for my "Homer" cake and some Simpsons decorated cookies I found.
