First Easter Egg Hunt

My mom and I took Emme to her first Easter egg hunt today at the elementary school in our town. I thought it was going to be pure chaos but much to my surprise it was organized, fun and all the kids had a great time. It didn't matter if you had one egg or 100 eggs everyone that came got the same little bag of candy donated by the Somers Lions Club. The only downfall was it was FREEZING. Emme could barely move in her bubble jacket, fleece hat and gloves! She was unsure of it all at first but they had a section blocked off for the little ones. It was a lot of fun. Paul had to work so he missed it but we will be doing an Easter Egg hunt in Hawaii on Easter so he will get to help Emme hunt for eggs too!

Spring Break FINALLY!!!!

School is out for Spring Break and we are very excited. We are packing for our trip to HAWAII! My mom is coming tomorrow to help with Emme as I pack and we are also going to the Town of Somers Easter Egg Hunt. I hope it is nice. We have never been to it before and Emme has never done anything like this so I hope it turns out ok! She has her Easter basket out and her winter coat and hat since the weather is awful! 48 hours until tropical weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
